In 3 weeks we are going to Hawaii. I narrowed it down to these 3 islands and this is what I know from it so far.
Oahu- Most exciting of all the islands. Best Clubs and nightlife.
Kauai- Most Tropical and Lush. A lot of un-spoiled natural beauty with amazing water falls.
Maui- Best of everything, and the best beaches.
I CAN'T F*CKING CHOOSE!
I will be staying in Waikiki Area in October and I am debating if we need a rental car, considering the parking fee at the hotel is very expensive. We have some activities planned out and it comes with tranportation so those days, we don't need to worry about transportation. But there are some down times that we want to go to some places to sightsee or eat....I heard bus is convenient but it could take long time to get to the places...we want to save some time. What do you think if we need a rental car? If we can a cab from Waikiki to downtown area, is it expensive? How much is it from Waikiki Area to Dept of Health?? Is is reasonable to just get a cab to go to places than getting a rental car?

My Boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Maui. So here are some questions:
Where in Maui should we stay? (A friend suggested somewhere on the southwest because it's not as wet)
A hotel on the beach near activites like snorkeling, Scuba diving, parasailing, etc.
also somewhere near some sort of night life.
I want it to be as romantic as possible.
