Lima Wela, or "Hot Hands," is the fast strumming, string breaking, boundary pushing trio of Willie K, Joe Cano and Avi Ronen. You can't help move to Latin, Hawaiian, jazz, rock and rhythm !n blues, a mix of what the band's founder Willie K. calls "Mediterranean-Pacific Jazz."

A narrative theatre adaptation of Steven Goldsberry's 'Maui the Demigod: An Epic Novel of Mythical Hawai`i,' Balfantz's play was first produced by Kumu Kahua in 1991 and toured the islands in 1992. The play incorporates hula, chant and storytelling in bringing the many myths of Maui to the stage -- including his miraculous birth, prank-filled childhood, and heroic deeds of manhood such as slowing down the pace of the sun and pulling an island from the depths of the sea.

'Grandfather's House' is a completely immersive exhibit, allowing visitors to step back in time to life in rural Korea during the 1930s. The exhibit features period furnishings and decor, the house represents a traditional single-story Korean home complete with tile roof, courtyard, and a hands-on kitchen. The layout reflects the gender separation of work and life of the period with separate areas for men and women.

Exhibit features marine shells, land snails, archeological bone, bird specimens and sea otter pelts.
